Pig On Beale - With the 1950's decor of checkerboard floors, formica tables and vintage movie posters mixes with live rockabilly, honky tonk or bluegrass music, a down-home happenin" hoopla should come as no surprise. The Pig on Beale's jukebox could easily be the best on Beale Street, with an eclectic mix of Memphis music like the older Furry Lewis and Elvis to the Delta Blues of the Eric Hughes Band. The bar host live Blues and Americana music Thursday through Sunday from area Americana bands.

Kings Palace Cafe - Walk down Beale Street and you see blues club after blues club. If you want some jazz, drop in to King's Palace Cafe. A dimly lit, cozy little joint offering a full menu of appetizing Southern delicacies, such as the rack of ribs or Cajun specialties. The dining area features plenty of room for hungry patrons, but step off to the side area for comfortable, relaxed evening of local jazz, usually featuring Memphis favorite Charlie Wood.

Rum Boogie Cafe - Of all the clubs and bars on Beale Street, RUM BOOGIE CAFE is the one not to miss. If their superfine fum selection and beer aren't enough to entice you, the Cajun and barbecue menu should -- ribs, fried catfish, jumbo and redbeans and rice served by fast and friendly servers. Nightime is all about hot music with the house-favorite James Govan and the Boogie Blues Band.
